The Knot-Sew-Grand Opening of My First Micro Store

Perfection is what keeps me from getting anything done.

Even as I write this blog post my fingers hit the backspace button more than any other keys.

Not because I keep making spelling errors, but because I constantly overthink and rewrite sentences to sound less manic or more intelligencual.

I woke up this morning and decided to just fill my locker with some kind of product that would appeal to more people than just my imaginary friends and overly-supportive family.

With luck, I will be able to fully fund my caffeine addiction with just the sales from this little locker.

I call these boxes “Life-Favors”. Favor boxes for any of life’s occasions. I thought it was clever while I was gaily arranging the locker.

Then again, I thought “Pandaphile” would be an awesome brand name to express my passion for pandas. Till I imagined it printed on a giant banner over my head while trying to peddle my creations at the swapmeet.

I am sure there is already some product out there that has the exact same name.

But I refuse to do even the most basic market research on Google because almost every previous market research result reminded me of how nothing I do will ever be truly original because someone has already done it firster and better.

Here's to being intentionally ignorant and blissful.

Much mahalo to Roni for being my first customer who insisted on paying for three Life-Favors even though I told her she could have as many as she wanted because she has been one of my best supporters. Thank you, Roni. You are awesome!
